Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LyricVid (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) handles information when you use our mobile application. We designed LyricVid so that your creative work stays on your device whenever possible.
1. Summary
- No account is required to use LyricVid.
- Videos, audio, and exported files are processed on your device.
- We do not operate a user database that stores your media or personal profile.
- The App may use third-party services for lyrics search and advertising, which have their own privacy practices.
2. Information we access on your device
With your permission, LyricVid may access:
- Photos, videos, and audio — so you can pick a source clip, optionally replace audio, and save the finished lyric video to your gallery.
- Local storage / cache — temporary files used while editing and exporting.
Media you select stays on your device for editing and export. We do not upload your videos to LyricVid servers for processing.
3. Information collected automatically
LyricVid itself does not require you to create an account or provide a name, email address, or phone number. When the App contacts third-party services over the internet, those services may receive standard technical data such as IP address, device type, and request metadata.
4. Lyrics service (LRCLIB)
When you search for a song or load synced lyrics, the App sends search queries (for example, song title and artist) to LRCLIB to retrieve timed lyrics. Lyric availability depends on LRCLIB’s catalog. Please review LRCLIB’s own terms and privacy information.
5. Advertising
LyricVid may display ads provided by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Ad networks may collect or process device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction data to show and measure ads, subject to your device settings and applicable consent requirements.

6. Permissions
Depending on your platform and OS version, LyricVid may request permissions such as:
- Read media / photos / videos / audio
- Write or add media to your library (to save exported videos)
- Internet access (lyrics search and ads)
You can revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features will not work without the related permission.
7. Data retention
Because editing happens on-device, project media remains under your control on your phone or tablet. Temporary cache files may be created during export and can be cleared when the App or system frees storage. We do not maintain a LyricVid cloud account that retains your projects.
8. Children’s privacy
LyricVid is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Your choices
- Deny or revoke media permissions in system settings.
- Limit ad personalization in your Google / device advertising settings where available.
- Uninstall the App to stop all local processing by LyricVid.
10. International users
Third-party providers (such as LRCLIB or Google) may process data in other countries. By using the App, you understand that those providers may transfer and process information according to their policies and applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
